Terms of Service

These terms govern the dog training services provided by XL K-9 Coach. By requesting a consultation or engaging our services, you agree to the terms below.

Description of Services

XL K-9 Coach provides professional dog training services, including private lessons, reactive dog programs, aggression rehabilitation, structured day training, and board-and-train programs, serving Las Vegas and Pahrump, Nevada. Training is delivered through structured, evidence-based methods tailored to each dog.

No Guaranteed Results

Every dog is an individual. We do not guarantee specific behavior changes or instant results. Training outcomes depend on the dog's temperament, history, environment, and the client's consistent application of the training plan. Progress is a process, not a promise.

Client Responsibilities

To get the most from training, clients are expected to:

  • Follow the training plan provided and apply techniques as instructed.
  • Practice assigned homework between sessions to reinforce progress.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled sessions and provide a safe, workable environment.

Honest Disclosure Required

Clients must disclose any bite history honestly and completely before training begins. This includes incidents involving humans or other animals, severity, and any triggers. Withholding or misrepresenting a dog's history compromises safety and the effectiveness of the program, and may result in termination of services without refund.

Safety and Assumption of Risk

Dogs can be unpredictable, and working with reactive or aggressive dogs carries inherent risk. Training is undertaken at your own risk. Clients participate in sessions understanding thatXL K-9 Coach, its trainers, and its agents are not liable for injuries, property damage, or incidents arising from the dog's behavior during or outside of training. Clients are responsible for their dog's actions at all times.

Payment and Fees

Private training starts at $175 per hour. Additional fees may apply for travel outside standard service areas, specialized programs, or board-and-train arrangements. Fees for each program are confirmed before scheduling. Payment terms, including deposits and due dates, are agreed at the time of booking.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled with reasonable notice. Cancellations made with insufficient notice, or failure to attend a scheduled session, may be subject to a fee at our discretion. Deposits, if collected, may be non-refundable for late cancellations or no-shows. Specific cancellation terms for each program are confirmed at booking.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, XL K-9 Coach is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from training services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific session or program giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
